Audrey Karen Miller is a registered nurse in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada with over 40 years of experience in nursing and extensive expertise as a medical/surgical nurse and nurse preceptor and mentor.
Audrey Karen Miller obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Walla Walla University in College Place, Washington in 1976. She later completed a number of advanced training courses while working as a nurse.
Audrey is now retired from day to day nursing, but still enjoys mentoring new and prospective nurses. She is the winner of a 35 Year Milestone Recognition Award from Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, and a Certificate of Long Service from the College & Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) in recognition of her more than 40 years in the profession of registered nursing. She attributes her success to being compassionate, dedicated, respectful of others needs, open and honest at all times as well as having good leadership and communication skills and being willing to help others in whatever capacity she can. Audrey is an accomplished pianist, enjoys reading, traveling, singing, listening to country music and watching baseball, curling and hockey.
