Betsy J. Ballew is a Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially research. Betsy’s most recent position was as Clinical Researcher within Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, California.
Betsy’s career in nursing began in 2000, when she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Calhoun College. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2002 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, before graduating with her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration in 2008 from the University of South Alabama.
To keep up to date with the latest advances in nursing, Betsy maintains professional memberships with the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Association of California Nurse Leaders. Nominated twice for a Daisy Award, Betsy attributes her success to her excellent relationship with her colleagues. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Dexter.
