With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Sarah Duncan, NP, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a nurse practitioner with eleven years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially acute care nursing, cardiology nursing, and disease management. Sarah is currently serving patients as an acute care nurse practitioner at MedStar- Fairfax Arrhythmia in Fairfax, Virginia, which she joined in 2014. Furthermore, she is an Independent Consultant for Rodan + Fields. Sarah graduated with her Bachelor Degree of Science in Nursing from George Mason University School of Nursing in Fairfax, Virginia, in 2005. As an advocate of continued education, she went to Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies in Washington, DC, and received her Master Degree of Science with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specialization in 2011. Sarah then became an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing during her tenure at Georgetown University. Sarah remains a professional member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and attained an additional certification as an Adult Critical Care Registered Nurse and in Advanced Heart Failure. She attributes her success to her ambition and dedicates her free time to running and her independent consulting business at Rodan + Fields.
