The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Jacqueline Ann Tibbetts, RNMH, RGN, RM, RN, MSN, CPAN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Jacqueline is a Registered Nurse currently working for the Inova Health System in Falls Church, Virginia as well as being a Visiting Professor with Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Online RN-BSN program. With over 40 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist pediatric post anesthesia nurse and an educator.
Jacqueline Ann Tibbetts obtained her qualification in Midwifery at the Birmingham Maternity Hospital in the United Kingdom in 1979, having already qualifying as both as a mental handicap nurse and general nurse. After moving to the United States, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois, and then a Master of Science in Nursing Degree, specializing in nurse education, within the same educational venue. Jacqueline is additionally a Certified PeriAnesthesia Nurse.
Jacqueline holds a wealth of experience in many areas of nursing, gained on both sides of the Atlantic. She remains a professional member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, and the Virginia Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, and says that her success is attributed to her passion for nursing and for helping people. Jacqueline is currently involved with the International Collaboration of PeriAnesthesia Nurses. When not working, Jacqueline enjoys scuba diving, traveling, fine dining, cooking, reading and listening to an eclectic range of music. Jacqueline also volunteers for the State of Virginia Medical Reserve Corps.
