The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Darlene June Lockard, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Darlene June Lockard is a retired registered nurse located in Virginia. With over 27 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist in long term care nursing.
Darlene June Lockard obtained her nursing degree from Alamance Community College in Graham, North Carolina. After graduating with honors both as an LPN and as a RN, Darlene completed a number of advanced training courses.
Darlene has a wealth of top level nursing experience, and was responsible for sixty acute care patients. She has previously taught at Durham Technical Community College and the Veterans Hospital, and attributes her success to her determination, feeling particularly thankful for the support and encouragement she received from one of her instructors, Susan Reid. When not working, Darlene enjoys fishing, gardening and crafts, especially quilting and cross stitch.
