Betty Anavitate is a registered nurse currently working for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. With over 20 years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist psychiatric nurse, labor and delivery nurse, and gastroenterology nurse.
Betty Anavitate obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 1996 in Ponce. Betty then attained a Master of Science in Nursing Degree with an emphasis on Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix in Arizona.
Alongside her work as a registered nurse, Betty is also a certified RME coordinator and SPS educator. In order to stay current in her field, she remains a professional member of the Florida Nurses Association and of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. Betty attributes her success to being observant and always considering the needs of her patients. When not working, Betty likes soap making.
