The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Crystal Marie Jordan, RN, CNP, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Crystal Marie Jordan is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially mental health, preventative care, and primary care. Crystal is currently working within Shawnee Family Health Center in Portsmouth, Ohio and is also affiliated with Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Crystal’s career in nursing began in in 2006 when she graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Shawnee State University. An advocate for continuing education, she remained at Shawnee State University for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2009, before attending Ohio University and gaining her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2013.
She is a Certified Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In addition to her work as a nurse practitioner, Crystal also serves as a Clinical Instructor for Ohio University’s ADN and BSN program. She attributes her success to her love for helping others, as well as the encouragement she got from her mother who first made her volunteer at the Southern Ohio Medical Center, inspiring her to pursue nursing. When she is not working, Crystal enjoys dancing, and loves running long distance marathons and half marathons.
