Dr. Fischman graduated with his Medical Degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1960. He subsequently completed his internship and residency at Albert Einstein University, before undertaking his fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University. Dr. Fischman is board certified in Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in psychiatry, Dr. Fischman maintains professional memberships with the Northern California Psychiatric Association and the American Psychiatric Association. For his hard work and dedication, he has been named a Distinguished Life Fellow by the American Psychiatric Association.
