Glenda is currently working in the industry as a Medical Education Expert within the Olympus Corporation of the Americas in Southborough, Massachusetts.
Glenda graduated with her Nursing Degree in 1973 from Forsyth Hospital School of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration in 1987 from St. Joseph’s College. Furthermore, she is a Medical Laser Safety Officer and a Certified Urological Registered Nurse. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in nursing, Glenda maintains a professional membership with the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates.
Glenda is the recipient of several awards and recognitions, including the Presidential Award, the 2002 Outstanding Contribution Award from the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, the 2007 Lifetime Membership Award from the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, and the Jan Le Bouton Certification Scholarship in 2010. She attributes her success to her education and certifications, attending conferences, and staying up to date with continuous reading. In her free time, Glenda enjoys spending time with her family, watersports, skiing, and gardening.
