Clearwater-based Mercury Enterprises, Inc., dba Mercury Medical, recently announced that it has earned international recognition as a qualified vendor for the Gulf Cooperation Council, (GCC). The GCC is an intergovernmental political and economic union consisting of six countries of the Arabian Gulf. This recognition allows Mercury Medical to now sell its innovative airway management devices to the GCC six member states of – the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (Code B89500).
To earn qualified vendor status, Mercury Medical submitted to a two and a half year long evaluation process, which included a factory visit by dignitaries from the GCC Health Council. Mercury Medical received the GCC approval in January 2017.
