Dr. Thong has been in practice for more than five decades and is currently serving patients within The Truong Neuroscience Institute in Fountain Valley, California.
Dr. Thong was educated at the University of Saigon Medical School in Vietnam, where he graduated with his Medical Degree. Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Thong completed his residency and fellowship at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington D.C, before attending the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center to complete his postgraduate training.
Dr. Thong is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Thong has held several academic appointments throughout the years. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, he maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Neurology, the Vietnamese Medical Association of the USA, and the Association of California Neurology. He attributes his success to enjoying what he does for a living, as well as his dedication and devotion to his work. In his free time, Dr. Thong enjoys reading, biking, and traveling.
