The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Anthony L. Santana, BSN, WCS, RN, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Anthony L. Santana is a Clinical Nurse Educator with 26 years of experience in his field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially wound care, medical/surgical nursing, assessment, and IV infusion. Anthony is currently working within Jersey College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Anthony’s career in nursing began in 1992 when he graduated with his Licensed Practical Nurse Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He then attended Broward Community College where he received his Associate of Science Degree in Nursing in 2002. An advocate for continuing education, Anthony went on to gain his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2010 from the University of Phoenix. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education within the same educational venue, with a projected graduation in 2017.
Anthony holds additional certification in Basic Life Support, CPR, IV Therapy, and Wound Care. For his wealth of experience and knowledge, Anthony received a Nightingale Award in 2015 from Jersey College. An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Anthony attributes his success to his excellent communication skills.
