The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Freda Kiboko, BSN, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Freda Kiboko is a Registered Nurse with five years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially in acute care. Freda is currently serving patients within Select Specialty Hospital a Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Freda Kiboko attended Indian Hills Community College to earn her Associate of Applied Science with focus in Nursing, and Associate of Arts with focus in Accounting. Later, she attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She holds additional certifications in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Freda is also active in her community with volunteer work, through her church she volunteers for organizations such as the Appalachian Service Project (ASP). Freda attributes her success to the support of her family and friends. She grew up surrounded by well educated women, and it was her grandmother who inspired her to become a nurse, and her parents that encouraged her to pursue her dreams. In her free time, Freda enjoys time with family and friends, reading, traveling, watching football, knitting and crocheting.
