The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome V. Doreen Wagner, PhD, RN, CNOR, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Doreen is a Registered Nurse with more than three decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially education. Doreen is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Nursing at Kennesaw State University WellStar School of Nursing in Kennesaw, Georgia, where she educates students on medical science nursing, nursing science, and geriatrics.
Doreen attended Tallahassee Community College, where she graduated with her Associate Degree of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to obtain her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Georgia State University, followed by her PhD from the University of Florida.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Doreen holds additional certification as a Certified Operating Room Nurse. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Doreen maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses. She attributes her success to the excellent mentors she has had along the way, as well as her perseverance.
