Paula Johnson Rood is a Nurse Educator with 17 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially plastic surgery, aesthetics, along with training and compliance. Paula is currently doing contracted work with United Dermatology Partners and Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute in Reno, Nevada as a Chief Compliance and Training Officer.
Paula attended Excelsior College, graduating with her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2000. An advocate for continuing education, Paula went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2007 from the University of Phoenix, and is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree for Nurse Practitioner at Nursing at Spring Arbor University.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Paula maintains a professional membership with the American Academy of Dermatology. She attributes her success to her military dedication, as well as the exceptional organizational skills she learned while serving in the United States Army. When she is not working, Paula enjoys skiing.
