Donna Lyn Zimmerman is a Registered Nurse with more than four decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing. Donna is currently serving patients as a Quality Improvement Consultant within TMF Health Quality Institute in Austin, Texas.
Donna attended Baptist Memorial School of Professional Nursing, where she graduated with her Nursing Diploma in 1971. An advocate for continuing education, Donna graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2006 from Regis University. She holds additional certification as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant from the Vickie Milazzo Institute.
To keep up to date with the latest advances in her field, Donna maintains a professional membership with the National Association of Healthcare Quality and the Texas Association of Healthcare Quality. With her wealth of experience and knowledge, Donna co-authored the book The Baby Boomer Nurse. She attributes her success to her strong work ethic, as well as making the most of her work to help others. In her free time, Donna enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren.
