Johnston, MD, Radiologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Sean L. Johnston is a highly trained and qualified radiologist with an extensive expertise in all facets of his work, especially interventional radiology. Dr. Johnston has been in practice for more than 18 years and is currently serving patients within Study Overflow Solutions Inc. in Burbank, California. He is also affiliated with White Memorial Medical Center and Pacific Alliance Medical Center.
Dr. Johnston graduated with his Medical Degree and PhD with a focus on Transplant Immunology from the Mayo Clinic, where he also completed his Surgical fellowship. He subsequently completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco-Fresno, before attending the University of California, Los Angeles for his Radiology residency and Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship, serving as Chief Fellow. During his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Johnston received one of five nationwide scholarships from Bracco Diagnostics and was named one of their “Leaders on the Horizon.”
Dr. Johnston is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has extensive experience designing and building teleradiology systems for imaging and medical centers including the implementation of digital dictation. Additionally, Dr. Johnston is a partner in a radiology group in Los Angeles, serves as Chief of Interventional Radiology at an acute care metropolitan teaching hospital, and is the primary MRI interpreter for a major Beverly Hills imaging center. He attributes his success to his perseverance, and when he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Johnston enjoys spending time with his children.
