Dr. Ruiz-Jorge is double board certified in Internal Medicine and in Geriatric Medicine. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Dr. Ruiz-Jorge maintains a professional membership with the American College of Physicians and the Dominican College of Physicians. For her hard work and dedication, Dr. Ruiz-Jorge is the recipient of a Menarini Award to Academic Excellence in 2003. She attributes her success to her hard work, consistency, and persistence. When she is not assisting her patients, Dr. Ruiz-Jorge enjoys photography, movies, hiking, and outdoor sports.
