Exceptional Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon, Nikhil Vasdev, MBBS, MRCS, ChM, FRCS, will be Presented in The Leading Physicians of the World

Mr. Nikhil Vasdev is a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon holding more than 15 years of experience in his field and an extensive expertise in all facets of his work, especially robotic urological surgery and urologic oncology. Mr. Vasdev is currently serving patients within the Hertfordshire and South Bedfordshire Urological Cancer Centre, Lister Hospital, and within his private practice at Pinehill Hospital in Hitchin, England, and Spire Bushey Hospital in North London.

Mr. Vasdev was educated at Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai, India. He recently completed a 2 year Robotic Urological Surgery fellowship at the Hertfordshire and South Bedfordshire Urological Cancer Centre, Lister Hospital, and has also completed a visiting fellowship at the City of Hope National Medical Centre in Los Angeles. As a part of his fellowships, Mr. Vasdev obtained a ChM (Urol) with a distinction from the University of Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for his thesis on the use of “Intraoperative frozen section of the prostate to reduce positive margin and improve nerve sparing during Robotic prostatectomy.” He is the UK’s first nationally accredited Robotic Fellow by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Association of Urological Surgeons.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Vasdev is an Associate Lecturer in Urology at the University of Cambridge, where he teaches urological medical students, and is also the Lead Clinical Tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, University of Edinburgh for the ChM (Urol) degree. With his wealth of experience and knowledge, Mr. Vasdev has been published extensively. He has published over 120 peer reviewed articles, 220 abstracts, 12 book chapters, and has written 2 textbooks on Urological Cancers. Furthermore, he is on the editorial board of 9 international urological journals. In September 2016, Mr. Vasdev was awarded the prestigious “Celebration of Clinical Excellence Award.” He is an international proctor in Robotic Urological Surgery, and attributes his success to being focused.
