The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome, Ebony Nicole Mitchell, RN, BSN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Ebony Nicole Mitchell is a Registered Nurse with 14 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially perioperative services. Ebony is currently serving patients within Houston Methodist Hospital System in Houston, Texas and she is also affiliated with Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas.
Ebony graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health in 2003 from Prairie View A&M University. An advocate for continuing education, Ebony went on to obtain her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration in 2016 from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and is currently pursuing her PhD. She holds additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Ebony maintains professional memberships with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, the National League for Nursing, the American Nurses Association, Black Nurses Rock, and the Texas Nurses Association. Ebony has published many works and presented nursing topics on a local, state, and national level. She attributes her success to her belief in God, the values instilled in her by her parents, and her determination, resilience, and focus. In her free time, Ebony enjoys cleaning, going to the gym, and spending time with her two children.
