With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Jamie Newton, RN III, BS, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Jamie Newton is a Registered Nurse with 32 years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially public health and correctional nursing. Jamie is currently serving patients within Stafford Creek Corrections Center in Aberdeen, Washington.
Jamie Newton graduated with her initial Nursing Degree from the State University of New York. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree from New Mexico State University. In addition, Jamie is a Basic Life Support Instructor, and is also a Licensed Practical Nurse. She attributes her success to befriending other nurses early in her career and learning from them, as well as loving to teach and help people. When she is not assisting patients, enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
