With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Mary C. Dellorso, RN, BSN, MSN, ARNP, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Mary C. Dellorso is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with 43 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially long-term care, geriatric, and rehabilitation nursing. Mary is currently serving patients within the Community Living Center at the Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Furthermore, she is a preceptor at the University of Akron.
Mary C. Dellorso graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from St. John’s College in 1973. An advocate for continuing education, Mary went on to gain her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is an Adult Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Mary maintains a professional membership with the Northeast Ohio Nurse Practitioners and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practices Nurses. She is an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and for her excellence was declared Nurse Practitioner of the Year by the Northeast Ohio Nurse Practitioners. Mary attributes her success to her passion for nursing and her love for people. When she is not assisting patients, Mary enjoys quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
