The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome April L. Huber, LPN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. April L. Huber is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 52 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially geriatric nursing. April is currently retired and living in Illinois.
An Army veteran, April completed her Nursing Degree in the army in 1965. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to obtain her Bachelor Degree from the City College of San Francisco and Illinois State University, before receiving her Master’s Degree from Kaplan University. Furthermore, April just signed a contract with Christian Faith Publishers to promote and publish her book Closeted Curiosities and Medical Prisoners by April Huber. April attributes her success to her father who was in the military. He taught her to always think before she acts. In her retirement, April dedicates her time to making and donating handcrafted nativity sets.
