Cody Ziegler is a Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Calgary Remand Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With over six years of experience and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, Cody is a specialist Corrections Healthcare Nurse.
Cody Ziegler’s career in nursing began in 2010 when he graduated with his Practical Nursing Degree from Athabasca University. An advocate for continuing education, Cody went on to gain his Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Athabasca University, and is currently pursuing his Master of Nursing Degree with a Nurse Practitioner focus from the same educational venue. He holds additional certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and is also telemetry certified.
In addition to corrections nursing, Cody has experience in urgent care, medical/surgical nursing, and surgical step-down intensive care. To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his challenging and changing field, Cody maintains a professional membership with the Canadian Forensic Nurses Association. He attributes his success to his passion for what he does, and his ability to gain trust, be open, professional and approachable. When he is not assisting his patients, Cody enjoys biking, swimming, hiking and canoeing, and loves to travel, especially to the Philippines.
