Acclaimed Registered Nurse Vadewattie Roopnarine, RN, BSN, will be Spotlighted in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Vadewattie Roopnarine, RN, BSN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Vadewattie Roopnarine is a Registered Nurse with over eight years of experience and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially as a Medical Surgical Staff Nurse, Telemetry Unit Charge Nurse, Home Care Manager, Case Manager, and Home Infusion Coordinator. Vadewattie is currently serving patients as a Registered Nurse Home Infusion Coordinator within Clara Maass Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and Qualitas Home Infusion in Belleville, New Jersey. She is also affiliated with RWJ Barnabas Health.

Vadewattie Roopnarine’s career in nursing began in 2008 when she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Essex County College. An advocate for continuing education, Vadewattie went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Felician College, and is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Leadership and Management from Walden University with a projected graduation in June 2017.

Vadewattie keeps up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field by maintaining a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She was a poster presenter at the 33rd International Association for Human Caring Conference and the 16th Annual Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice Conference. For her excellence, Vadewattie was presented with a Research Award. She attributes her success to the endless support of her wonderful, encouraging family, high school sweetheart, and friends, as well as her natural interest in caring for people and being a source of comfort during vulnerable times. When she is not assisting patients, Vadewattie enjoys playing basketball and attending spin classes.
