The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome, Rene M. Maldonado, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Rene M. Maldonado is a Registered Nurse with 16 years of experience in his field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially cancer treatment, chemotherapy, and stroke care. Rene is currently serving patients within Providence Health Care St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Working within St. Paul’s Hospital, Rene mainly cares for patients who have received open heart surgery. Additionally, Rene is affiliated with the University Hospital Canada.
Rene M. Maldonado’s career in nursing began in 2006 when he graduated with his Nursing Degree from the University of Victoria. Prior to entering nursing, Rene earned his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2002. An advocate for continuing education, Rene is presently enrolled in a Master’s in Nursing program at Trinity Western University. Rene is an inductee of the Golden Key International Honour Society, and maintains a membership with the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his career in nursing, Rene is also an entrepreneur. He is part of a global organization that coaches and mentors individuals to become great leaders, with a vision to train leaders to lead with integrity and love for their fellow human beings. Rene attributes his success to his excellent mentors, who helped him in the beginning of his career. He had a great instructor who coached him to think critically, and his parents encouraged him to be the best he can be. He is motivated everyday by making a difference in a person’s life, even if it is only in a small way. When he is not assisting his patients, Rene enjoys basketball, soccer, and volunteer work in his free time.
