Casperson is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 34 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, including urology, sexual health care, functional medicine, medical review administration, and men’s health. Janet is currently serving patients within the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Janet M. Casperson’s career in nursing began in 1982 when she graduated with her Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. An advocate for continuing education, Janet went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the same educational venue, before receiving her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 1999 from Ball State University. Janet is an Adult Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified, and is also Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine. Furthermore, Janet is a published author of two books on addiction and sexual dysfunction.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Janet maintains a professional membership with the American Urological Association, the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Nurse Practitioners, and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana. Janet attributes her success to her personal drive, discipline, and the excellent mentors she has had along the way. When she is not assisting her patients, Janet enjoys photography and spending time outdoors gardening.
