With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Jerrica M. Ewald-Bloomfield, RN, BSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Jerrica is a Registered Nurse with eight years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially stepdown unit, intensive care, medical/surgical nursing, and neuro trauma nursing. Jerrica is currently serving patients at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Jerrica’s career in nursing began in 2008 when she graduated with Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania. An advocate for continuing education, she then went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2011 from Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jerrica is currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at La Salle University School of Nursing and Health Sciences, with a projected graduation in 2020.
Jerrica holds additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. She keeps up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field by maintaining a professional membership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. For her hard work and dedication, Jerrica was honored with an Excellence in Patient Advocate Award in 2013. She attributes her successful career to staying focused, hard work, and always working towards her goals. When she is not assisting patients, Jerrica enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and animals.
