To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, Dr. Walkes maintains a professional membership with the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. A specialist in all aspects of family medicine, he is responsible for overseeing public health services across Jefferson County. Dr. Walkes attributes his success to his hard work, persistence, and his strong education. When he is not working, Dr. Walkes enjoys music and writing.
