Dr. Pollack’s career in medicine began in 1979 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Universidad del Noreste. Following his graduation, Dr. Pollack served his residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, before undertaking his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Metropolitan Hospital Center, and his fellowship in Cardiology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. Dr. Pollack is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is currently the President of the Police Surgeons’ Benevolent Association. Dr. Pollack attributes his great success in his career to his sense of humor, self motivation, and his military career that helped him stay focused.
