He is a highly trained and qualified vascular and endovascular surgeon with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially arch, thoracic, and abdominal aortic aneurysms, vascular malformations, limb salvage, hemangiomas, cervical carotid disease, visceral and renal vascular pathology, acquired and congenital venous disease. Dr. Nassiri has been in practice for more than four years and is currently serving patients at Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dr. Nassiri’s career in medicine began in 2008 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Oregon Health & Science University, School of Medicine. He subsequently completed his internship in General Surgery at UCLA Health, followed by his Integrated Vascular and Endovascular Surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Nassiri is board certified in Vascular Surgery, and keeps up to date with the latest advances in his field through his professional memberships with the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, the American College of Surgeons, and the International Society for Study of Vascular Anomalies.
Dr. Nassiri is one of only a handful of individuals in the country with an integrated training background in vascular surgery and endovascular interventions. His unique area of research interest focuses on endovascular therapies targeting biomolecular pathways involved in pathogenesis of vascular malformations. As a multi-published author, Dr. Nassiri has published work in peer reviewed journal articles, abstracts, book chapters, and national and international presentations. He attributes his great success in his field to his hard work, as well as the excellent mentors he has had along the way.
