Rose Simbizi is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager with eleven years of experience and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially post-acute care, dementia, and long term care. She starts the day by putting together clinical follow ups for Nurse Managers, and makes sure that all three shifts work as a team to accomplish the facility’s number one goal of “resident safety.” Furthermore, she has taken part in the facility’s innovations by changing and implementing new policies for better patients care outcomes.

To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in the nursing field, Rose maintains a professional membership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and she is also a member of the NADONA Massachusetts Chapter. She attributes her success to being a people person, believing that all care comes from the heart, and her background in teaching. She also attributes her success to her parents, her mother a professional midwife, and her father a physician’s assistant, who have always kept medical jobs with a professional mindset. Rose spends her time listening to her patient’s and getting to know them, so she is able to put a smile back on their face.
