Dr. Capin has been in practice for over 29 years and is currently serving patients at Dermatology Associates of Colorado and Cara Mia Medical Day Spa located in Englewood, Colorado. Dr. Capin graduated with her Medical Degree on a naval scholarship from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Following her graduation, Dr. Capin completed an internship at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, followed by her residency at the University of Colorado, and fellowship at the University of Arizona at Tucson. Dr. Capin holds certification in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, and for her excellence was awarded with numerous recognitions, including the Patients’ Choice Award in 2013, and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition from 2012-2013.
To keep up to date with the latest advances in her field, Dr. Capin maintains professional memberships with the Colorado Dermatologic Society, the Colorado Medical Society, the Aurora Adams County Medical Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Diana Price-Fish Cancer Foundation, and the Genentech Scientific Research Board. Dr. Capin is renowned for having started the nation’s first Dermatological Nurse Practitioner training program at Regis University. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Capin loves Colorado and being outdoors, riding horses, fishing, scuba diving, and hiking; always with sunscreen.
