With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Joyce M. Paterik, RN, MSN, ONC, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Joyce M. Paterik is a Registered Nurse with 40 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially orthopedic nursing. Joyce is currently serving patients at Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona.
Joyce graduated with her Nursing Degree in 1976, before obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2007 from Grand Canyon University. An advocate for continuing education, Joyce went on to complete her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2011 from the same educational venue. Joyce holds additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support, and is also a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse and Oncology Certified Nurse.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in nursing, Joyce maintains a professional memberships with the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses. She attributes her great success to being open to change, her love and passion for the field, and the freedom within nursing to lead and teach. When she is not assisting patients, Joyce enjoys sewing, beading, and embroidery.
