Barker is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 25 years of experience and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially geriatric nursing. Patricia is currently serving patients at West Lawrence Care Center in Far Rockaway, New York.
Patricia D. Barker’s career began in 1991 when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from the Veeb Nassau County School of Practical Nursing in Hicksville, New York. An advocate for continuing education, Patricia then went on to gain her Bachelor Degree in Health Administration. As a specialist in geriatric care, Patricia provides wide ranging support and care for her elderly patients. She attributes her great success to her love of being a nurse, as she has wanted to be a nurse all her life. When she is not assisting her patients, Patricia is in a dance group, and also enjoys reading the Bible.
