Jonathon T. Ponder graduated with his Nursing Degree in 2003 from Covenant Health System: Nursing School, followed by his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Lubbock Christian University in 2006. An advocate for continuing education, Jonathon went on to obtain his Master of Science Degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University in 2008, before his Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Wolford College in 2015. Additionally, Jonathon holds certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in the nursing field, Jonathon maintains a professional membership with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Jonathon attributes his great success to consistency, persistence, and his great instructors. When he is not assisting his patients, Jonathon can be found weightlifting or competing in short distance triathlons.
