The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Robert Werblin, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly trained and qualified emergency medicine physician with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially emergency training and pediatric and adult critical care. Dr. Werblin has been in practice for 40 years and is currently serving patients as the Director of Emergency Services at River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, New York.
In 1971, Dr. Werblin received his Medical Degree from Albany Medical College, prior to training at Children’s Hospital and Albany Medical Center in Pediatric Intensive Care, Emergency Training, and Pediatric Cardiology. While he was completing his Pediatric Cardiology training, a fraction of his time was also spent training in Adult Cardiology. Furthermore, Dr. Werblin holds dual board certification by both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.
Prior to being full time in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Werblin managed a critical care unit for children and adults that had just undergone open-heart surgery, and also served as the Director of Ped-Adolescent Critical Care at New Beth Israel Medical Center, College of Medicine & Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. He feels that he owes his successful career to his great mentors, his passion for helping others, making a difference, and research. When he is not assisting patients, Dr. Werblin enjoys listening to music, attending Broadway shows, athletics, and spending time with his family and friends.
