With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Rachel M. Krakora, RN-BC, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. Rachel is a Registered Nurse with five years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially psychiatric nursing. Rachel is currently serving patients as Intake Coordinator at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Furthermore, she is also a Staff Registered Nurse at Highland Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Highland Heights, Ohio.
Rachel graduated with her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing in 2011 from Bryant & Stratton College in Parma, Ohio. An advocate for continuing education, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Cleveland State University School of Nursing, which she is expected to complete in 2017. Rachel is board certified in Mental Health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is dedicated to the world of mental health.
Rachel’s goal is to build a place that people with mental illness can call home, and know they are cared for. She feels that being a psychiatric nurse is a one of kind, ever changing career, and there is always more for her to learn. Rachel attributes her success in the field to having strong co-workers and learning from her parents, Lou and Renee, who were wonderful role models. When she is not assisting patients, Rachel dedicates her free time to arts, reading, and spending time with her loving husband, Chris, and adorable dogs.
