Frances Kathleen Lopez Bushnell is a Director of Nursing working for the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Holding over 47 years of experience in nursing, she holds specific expertise as a nurse practitioner and a specialist in addiction care.
Frances Kathleen Lopez Bushnell gained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 1969. This was followed three years later by a Master of Science in Nursing Degree, gained from Yale University, prior to receiving a doctorate from Boston University. Frances is also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Frances is a renowned expert in addiction disorders, and she also remains a member of the American Nurses Association and the New Mexico Pharmacists Association. She says that her success is due to her passion for nursing, an area in which she has found her true purpose in life. When not working, Frances enjoys golf, and is a keen runner and skier.
