Dr. Shehata has been in practice for over 20 years and is currently serving patients at Genesis Health Group, Davenport Pediatrics, in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Shehata received her Medical Degree in 1994 from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, where she also completed her Pediatric residency in 1999. Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Shehata served a three-year Pediatric residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She is board eligible for certification in pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics, and maintains a professional membership with the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Shehata attributes her success to her strong will to succeed, overcoming the challenges that came with relocating to the United States, and to her mother, who was her inspiration. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Shehata enjoys Yoga.
