Burgard is a Registered Nurse working for Baptist Health Paducah in Paducah, Kentucky. With over two years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist medical/surgical, telemetry, and pulmonary nurse.
Heather M. Burgard obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Murray State University in Kentucky in 2014. Additionally, Heather is EKG certified, and holds certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Heather maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the Kentucky Nurses Association, and has already become a preceptor for new students and orientees. She says that her ongoing success as a nurse is because of her faith, the support of her family, and the excellent training she has had. When she is not assisting patients, Heather enjoys arts and crafts.
