The International Association of HealthCare Professionals is pleased to welcome Timothy Charles Hlavinka, MD, ISSWSH, Urologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly trained and qualified urologist with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially neurourology and sexual medicine. Dr. Hlavinka has been in practice for over 20 years years and is currently serving at Urology San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, where he is co-director of the Urology San Antonio’s Center for Female Sexual Medicine. Always at the forefront of medical advances, Dr. Hlavinka led his group to launch the first female sexual medicine clinic in South Texas in 2004. Furthermore, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Hlavinka graduated with his Medical Degree in 1984 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his two-year Surgical residency as well as his four-year Urologic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board certified with the American Board of Urology, and maintains professional memberships with the American Urological Association and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. He attributes his successful career today to his capacity to respect the integrity of every patient he sees. When he is not assisting patients, Dr. Hlavinka enjoys watersports.
