With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Cheryl A. Ricker, RN, BSN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, and telemetry. Cheryl is currently serving patients at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, California. St. Mary’s Medical Center offers accredited programs, the latest technology and compassionate care to meet the needs of the community it serves.
Cheryl attended Victor Valley College in Victorville, California, where she received her Nursing Degree in 1987. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles School of Nursing in 1999. Additionally, Cheryl is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support, and maintains a professional membership with the Oncology Nursing Society. She feels that her love for patients and her passion for oncology have greatly contributed to her success. She believes that it is very rewarding to take care of patients and help them improve. When she is not assisting patients, Cheryl enjoys traveling and gardening, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
