Darla Nicoelle Nyquist is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner working for the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With over 23 years of experience in nursing, she specializes in nurse management. Furthermore, she is affiliated with Maple Grove Hospital and North Memorial Clinic in Ridgedale.
Darla received her Nursing degree from Bethel University in 1993, becoming a Registered Nurse. She then graduated from St. Catherine University, becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in 2004. Darla has also gained further qualifications in Basic Life Support, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certified.
Darla has a wealth of experience as a neonatal nurse in a variety of positions, and now serves as a nurse manager. Darla maintains professional memberships with the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and the Academy of Neonatal Nurses, and has also had an article published in the Journal of Ophthalmology. Darla attributes her success to hard work, and to her love of team work. When she is not working, Darla enjoys traveling and photography.
