Dr. Fernandez has been in practice for over six years and is currently serving patients as Senior Vice-President and Emergency Medicine Physician at Tri County Emergency Physicians LLC in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Furthermore, he has hospital privileges at Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove, where he acts as Vice-Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, as well as EMS Medical Director of Southern Chester County EMS Medic-94. In addition to assisting patients, he is a preceptor and lecturer at Arcadia University and Drexel Universities.
Dr. Fernandez attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine and graduated in 2007 with his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then went on to complete the emergency medicine residency program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Prior to medical school, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arizona, and his Associate of Science degree in Aircraft Systems Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the U.S. Air Force. Furthermore, Dr. Fernandez is a certified Emergency Medicine Physician with the prestigious American Board of Emergency Medicine. He stays current in his field through his professional membership with the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Fernandez attributes his success to keeping a positive outlook and finding balance between work, family, and hobbies. When he is not working, Dr. Fernandez enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, electrical work, practicing martial arts, and cycling.
