The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Annie Sanford, RN, MSN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders In Healthcare. Annie Sanford is a Stroke Program Manager working for the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. With over 14 years of experience in nursing, she specializes in neuroscience and stroke nursing.
Annie gained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Washington State University in 2002, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Weston Governor’s University in Salt Lake City, Utah. Annie has also served on the Review Committee for the Department of Health.
Annie has held a variety of nursing positions within the Providence Health System and Swedish Medical Center, and in addition to being a stroke program manager, she also holds a faculty teaching position for new employees and residents. Annie maintains professional memberships with the American Stroke Association and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and attributes her success to the incredible supportive teams she has worked with. When she is not working, Annie enjoys reading, listening to music, and walking her labradors.
