She is a Registered Nurse with 35 years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, including emergency room nursing, intensive care, diabetes education, and “Disease State Lecturing.” Madeline is currently serving patients as a Diabetes Educator and Weight Management Counselor at Brescia & Migliaccio MD, PC, a private practice specializing in Endocrinology/Metabolic Disorders, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN and Women’s Health. There are multiple service locations with the main office located in Hoboken, New Jersey. Madeline has been a member of the organization since 2014.
Madeline attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey, and was awarded her Bachelor degree of Science in Nursing in 1981. She additionally holds a dual Master Degree of Science Health Education and Health Administration which she completed at New Jersey City University. An active local public speaker, Madeline is a Certified Diabetes Educator as well. She credits her success to working in a patient-centered, multicultural endocrinology health care practice, which has afforded her the ability to serve a diverse population. Educating patients and their families has been personally rewarding. Knowing that she helped to make a difference in their lives has been fulfilling, humbling and energizing. Madeline maintains active national society memberships with the prestigious American Diabetes Association and American Nurses Association.
