Beverly is a clinical nurse manager working for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. With over 40 years of experience in nursing and education, she specializes in clinical nurse management, and in nurse training/education.
Beverly gained her Nursing degree from Staten Island College, New York, becoming a qualified Registered Nurse. In addition, she received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. Alongside her work as a clinical nurse manager, she serves as an educator for new and qualifying nurses.
Throughout her long and distinguished nursing career, Beverly has worked in a wide variety of positions. She maintains a professional membership with the American Nursing Association, and is a keen reader of the American Journal of Nursing. She says that the secret of her success is her love of nursing allied with her strong faith, and her never give up attitude. When not working, Beverly enjoys reading, antiquing, and finding bargains at flea markets.
