Brookline College announced today that it will offer a new, 100% online Pharmacy Technician diploma program. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics this field is expected to grow about 9% between 2014 and 2024, which is faster than average growth. Brookline’s new online Pharmacy Technician diploma program prepares students for entry-level positions in the role of pharmacy technician in hospitals, pharmacies, and other health care environments. Course topics include basic healthcare concepts, pharmacy administration, pharmaceutical calculation, and more. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Brookline will also reimburse the exam cost to graduates who receive a passing grade. The program is 28 credits and is designed to be completed in as little as 8 months. New students can start the program as early as July 11, 2016.
