Rod Blagojevich began serving a 14 year sentence more than three years ago and on July 15, 2013 appealed his conviction before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in Chicago.
“We’ve been waiting a long a time for it to come down. I am aware of the decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in Chicago. I’m currently reading it and studying it and will provide my reaction to it at a news conference later,” said Leonard Goodman, Rod Blagojevich’s appellate attorney.
